Estes Needs Tommy John

Link: QuickPost | MLBlogs.

I like that this article by David Briggs specifies that Estes had no history of ill-health when San Diego signed him.  Poor Estes.  It’s always something.  Although Dusty  Baker liked him and brought him to the Cubs after being his manager in San Franscisco, I felt good when Estes became a Padre.  Padres pitching is refreshingly consistent, and they seem to work troubles out of their pitchers.
